Chem 112- We went over how to figure out roman numerals with multi valent charged metals today. I also did a homework check. I assigned the following questions: green sheet #5 and the orange sheet #3 ..........(text p 263 #10, 11abc, p 265 #12 text questions were not assigned)
Chem 122-Today we went over the equilibrium law and worked on more grooup work with the law and Le Chatelier. You will have a quiz on equilibrium law and Le chatelier on thursday. On the handout do the left side the following 8a to e, 9 to 12 and 13 d,e,f . We worked on more group work with Lechatelier and equilibrium law and % reaction.
Chem 111- We worked with polyatomics again with an overview of roman numerals.I went over irregular polyatomics. Please do sheet 2 fromt he orange sheet.

Chem 112-Today we went over naming polyyatomic compounds. If you were absent it is important to go to chapter nine and review this on p 264 to 266. Please look at p 257 as well. I assigned Sheet 1 off of the orange handoutto be done in your notebook for tomorrow.
Chem 122-- There will be notes on the start of section 5 in chapter 18. I went over the rate law and rate constant. I also did another homework check and an overview of the Keq and equilibrium Law and expression. Please note that there is a quiz tomorrow on Le Chatelier's Principal and Equilibrium Law tomorrow. If you were absent please go p 556 - 558 and make your own notes and practise this. It is very straight forward. Le Chatelier's Principle is on p 552-555. We completed the group work that was started on friday.
Chem 111-Today we did an assignment with a partner from the green booklet. I assigned sheet 4 from the orange handout for homework

Chem 112- Today we had another homework check on the naming from sheet 3 and 1 on the orange sheet and #5 from the green sheet from
a few days ago. We went over irregular polyatomic naming. Please do sheet 2. from the orange handout.
Chem 122-Today you had a quiz. We spent more time on section five from Ch 18. I assigned some questions from the text: p 579 #38 to 42 and p 582 #81 p 583 #86.
Chem 111- Today I did a demo on properties of four categories of compounds. You have an assignment dealing with the properties of compounds. It is to be done on a single sheet of paper folded in four. I also mentioned the mole contract(tomorrow). The first part of this contract is due on the thursday after march break. Please see the Chem 111 info for more details.

Chem 112- You had a quiz on polyatomic ions and their names, formulas and charges. We did a group assignment on roman numerals, binary and polyatomic regular and irregular naming and writing formulas.Please do sheet #4 from the handout.
Chem 122- Today I went over Ksp. Do p 562 #17 and 18. You received a handout of questions that need to be done during the break.
Please do #1-7 from the top of the handout and 1,2,3 from the bottom of the handout on Ksp. If you are away then please look this up in your text under section 18.3. We also watched the Haber Process Video.
Chem 111- Today we went on to naming Acids today. This information is on the left side of the grey sheet. Please do sheet 6 for tomorrow.

It should consist of a page folded in four with the properties like conductivity, tests(litmus, phenophthalein, pH) and how you would recognize the formjula AND include pictures and examples(with formulas) for at least three compounds from each category.
